A workshop centred around better understanding - and addressing - emotionally-based school non attendance.

This is a networking event which will focus on understanding and addressing Emotionally-Based School Non Attendance - or EBSNA. Participants will work together to establish a shared understanding of EBSNA, as well as to review relevant research, and explore where existing practices succeed or could be improved.

The organisers of this event hope to create a network of support and collaboration to better address EBSNA in the future, for the wide range of people that support and engage with young people with EBSNA.

The workshop invites a wide range of individuals and organisations involved with young people - including charities, NHS practitioners, mental health support organisations, researchers, educators, parents/carers, and young people themselves - to get learn more about EBSNA.

For any questions about the event, please contact Dr Jessica Kingston from the Department of Psychology at
