We use a specialist fund manager to manage our investments on a day to day basis.
In 2020 we appointed a specialist ethical and sustainable fund manager, Rathbone Greenbank, to help us achieve our responsible investment ambitions. Rathbone Greenbank are a signatory to the UN Principles of Responsible Investment and have an excellent framework to design our investment portfolio in line with our Investment Policy, provide insight about the ESG practices and performance of the companies we invest in, and engage with companies on ESG issues.
Rathbone Greenbank and our investment policy are overseen by our Investment sub-committee, who report to Council.
