Careers Fairs

We hold several careers fairs throughout the year that attract students from all year groups and academic disciplines.

Careers and Placements Fair

Our flagship event of the year, this fair is held in October for employers from all sectors, looking to recruit onto graduate schemes, year-long placements and summer internships. We usually have up to 1,500 students attending from all year groups and academic disciplines. The next fair will take place in October 2024 on campus.

Part-time Jobs Fair

Royal Holloway prides itself in having plenty of opportunities for students to work while they study. Our busiest Part-time Jobs Fairs see in the region of 1,500 students looking for casual and vacation work, keen to develop their employability skills. If you are a local employer and have a good number of part-time or vacation roles on offer, then one of these fairs may be of interest. We hold them in early October and early January, at the beginning of the autumn and spring terms. If you are an employer wishing to take part, please email us at employers@rhul.ac.uk.

Sector-specific fairs

We run smaller sector-specific fairs throughout the autumn and spring terms depending on demand, enabling students to have more in-depth conversations with employers.

Diversity Careers Fair

Showcasing employers and organisations with equality and diversity at the heart of what they do, this smaller fair is an opportunity for you to engage with students from a diverse range of backgrounds and academic disciplines, whether you have live roles to promote, or want to have conversations ahead of the busy autumn recruitment season. This event takes place in the spring term and is run in collaboration with some of our student societies and collectives, such as FemSoc, LGBTQ+, African Caribbean Society, Women of Colour, Disabled Students, Commuting Students and International Students.

Summer Fair

Our Summer Fair takes place immediately after the exam season and is for all employers who have live vacancies, whether they are for graduate roles, internships or summer seasonal work. It is a great opportunity for students to secure employment ahead of the summer break.
