The School of Business and Management are delighted to have been positioned in the top quartile for 4* research in the Output category of the Research Excellence Framework 2021 (REF), recognising the School’s focus on high quality research and teaching.
The School is also very pleased to announce The Research Excellence Framework 2021 revealed that 82% of our research is considered to be 'world-leading or internationally excellent', judged to be within the top two categories of 4* and 3* research respectively.
Our research spans international and intercultural perspectives on management; sustainability, responsibility and ethics; knowledge management and organisational learning; critical and historical perspectives on management; and working lives.
Executive Dean, Professor Gloria Agyemang is delighted with this REF recognition of the high quality of our research output, as the School focuses on high quality research and teaching, whereby students benefit from being taught by academics who are producing cutting-edge research insights in their fields.
