Dan O'Keeffe joined us a lecturer in June 2018

Dan was previously a post-doctoral researcher in the Large-Scale Distributed Systems (LSDS) group at Imperial College London.

Dan O'Keefe

Dan received a PhD in Distributed Systems from the University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory under Professor Jean Bacon. Between his PhD and post-doc he spent several years as a software engineer in the financial services industry building high-frequency trading platforms.
 
Dan's research interests lie broadly in the areas of distributed systems, security, and databases. His current research focuses on cloud computing security and edge computing for the Internet of Things (IoT), encompassing topics such as stream processing, trusted execution (Intel SGX) and taint analysis, and has been published in venues such as VLDB, EuroSys, USENIX ATC, OSDI, and CCS.
