Ms Ciuro's abstract was accepted for presentation at the upcoming F. Scott Fitzgerald Society Conference this summer in Toulouse, France.
We are very proud to share that First Year Student, Eugenia Ciuro, has had her abstract comparing The Great Gatsby to The Old Man and the Sea accepted for presentation at the upcoming F. Scott Fitzgerald Society Conference this summer in Toulouse, France. She has also been selected as Student Representative for the newly founded Florida Hemingway Society.
Dr Ahmed Honeini, a Visiting Tutor and NET Representative at the Department, sent out the Call for Papers and was impressed by Ms Ciuro's response: '[H]er abstract shows much maturity, thoughtfulness, and insight, and bodes very well for the future of her studies.'
Well done, Eugenia!
