This Marie Skłodowska-Curie Global Fellowship, held by Emily MacGregor in 2016–19, supported research into ideas of experience, memory, and displacement through examining musical collaborations, spectacles, and events by German-speaking musical émigrés in America that engaged with technological modernity.
A collaboration with Harvard University, this project organised the conference Sonic Circulations: Musical Thought, Scientific Fantasies, Global Contexts (June 2019).
