Psychology Department Studentships

Psychology Department Studentships

Funding is available for PhD studentships funded by the College and allocated to the Department of Psychology. Staff who are currently recruiting for PhD students have advertised potential projects and research interests on our website. Applicants who have their own research project idea should identify a supervisor with the relevant expertise to supervise the project. In preparing an application you should contact staff directly before starting the application. When approaching staff it is generally helpful to attach a copy of your CV and transcript to date, as well as some information on what has motivated you to do a PhD and what interests you about the proposed research area (link to staff expertise where appropriate).

Available studentships provide a stipend in the region of £20,622 per annum for 3.5 years and also cover the tuition cover fees at home-student rate. International applicants are welcome to apply but would be required to pay the difference between home and international tuition fees.
