Royal Holloway's Award for Outstanding Staff Volunteering recognises the time given by members of staff to the local community.
As of Tuesday, 29 June 2021, there are no students and no members of staff who have been on campus who are currently self-isolating after testing positive for coronavirus (Covid-19).
During the summer period, we are continuing to monitor cases of coronavirus. However, due to the numbers being very low, we will be reducing the frequency to monthly reports during this period.
As part of National Volunteers’ Week (1-7 June 2021) a team of Royal Holloway students packed over 140 care packages for local NHS staff at Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

On Tuesday 18 May, four students from Royal Holloway, were awarded with Surrey Lord-Lieutenant’s Award of Appreciation for their work in supporting the local community.
